Dominic Matteucci was born in Berwyn IL, a suburb just west of downtown Chicago. His passion for the stage began at age 6 in a production of Willy Wonka. He played a Lifesaver and forgot his only line. He continued to act through grammar school, but it wasn't until high school he truly discovered his love for acting when he was cast as James Keller in the Miracle Worker. After graduating Dominic continued to act and studied theater at Morton College and at the Acting Studio in Chicago. He joined the improv group The Last Laff at 19. Then he was cast as the young, confused gay teen Jordan Laffey in the feature Reverse Karma. Dominic continued to do theater in Morton College's premier of Ray Cooney's British farce Funny Money as the taxi driver Bill. He also did a production Six Degrees of Separation in the role of Doug. At 22 he moved to Los Angeles. He has continued to entertain ever since whether it is in a play, on film, or performing standup comedy. Although having much experience with comedy and improv, Dominic loves to play dark, edgy, dramatic roles, which, can be seen in the films The First Time and Bad Habit, both of which he plays creepy, psychotic characters. In addition to acting Dominic loves to be behind the camera as well. He has been production coordinator for the feature film Behind Your Eyes and for a short film at the 2009 Las Vegas 48-hour film festival. Dominc also won an award for best costumes at the 2009 Las Vegas 48-hour film festival. He has been 1st AD, 2nd AD, boom mic operator and done special effects make up. Growing up watching horror movies Dominic's love for gore and make up began at an early age. He loves Halloween and has worked as a monster for Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights since 2007. Dominic has been a zombie and zombie stunt double in April Apocalypse and for the Hollywood premier of AMC's The Walking Dead.
